Charlie Chon is a Director at Thomas Weisel Partners, where he covers Medical Devices & Supplies. Charlie has covered healthcare public equities for over 10 years, previously as Vice President in Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs, where he covered Medical Technology with a focus on cardiology and orthopedics, as well as emerging markets and small/mid-cap growth. Charlie has also covered the healthcare universe from the buy-side at Fred Alger Management, as well as large-cap pharmaceuticals and medical devices from the sell-side at ABN-AMRO. Charlie holds the CFA designation, and received his MBA from Boston University with a concentration in healthcare management and his BA from Amherst College.
